- From the Collection of Brent Neustifter
Artist: Unknown
One of the stranger works in the History of Thoronia, Space Wizard was found by Dr. Brent Neustifter while he was excavating a Thoronian ruin in Chocoflavium in 2005. The art, which appears to depict a future incident, was eventually determined to be from 2064. The piece traveled through a worm hold before being picked up by a Thoronian satellite that crashed to Thoronia in the autumn of 2004. Although little is still known about the piece, it is nationally recognized as one of the greatest finds in the Republic’s history and is reproduced regularly on posters and postcards on Thoronia Day.

- From the Collection of Brandon Knapp
Created for the Wars of Thoronia
Although Thoronia is generally known to be a peaceful state, time and again the Republic is thrown into conflict. In the early part of the 11th century Thoronia entered into war with the neighboring nation of Kurtonia when the country had turned the music up too loudly and played the Barenaked Ladies on repeat for 3600 hours straight. Thoronian’s were inexperienced at war, and struggled at first. Regardless of their archaic weapons, they still persevered out of sheer strength. Their shields were built of sturdy wood and could repel arrows and stop even the thickest of swords. Their knives, although small, would be brandished as a last resort, as Thoronians generally don’t like killing others. The hammer, as far as history can tell, was used solely by generals as a sign of leadership. Thoronian’s eventually won, but not after several thousand had shed their blood.
- Traditional King Thor Doll
From the Collection of Christiné Friberg Donated by the Republic of Thoronia Society For years now children have cherished the King Thor Doll. Whether taking it camping, hiking, on long car rides or to war, the doll has earmarked Thoronian childhood more so than any other doll. Although the dolls were changed and altered in the 1980s and 1990s to include more clothing options and weapons, a recent surge in sales of the original design has prompted some of the largest manufacturer’s to release these retro-King Thor dolls. This doll here was the absolute first, and stitched by its creator sometime in the late 1800s.

- Bathe Tyme for Kynge Thor
From the Collection of Mojiferous J. Colossus. Artist: Joe Flower During the 1960s King Thor was revitalized through a number of art pieces. Most notably is this piece, from Mojiferous J. Colossus’ collection. Originally created by Joe Flower, Bathe Tyme for Kynge Thor was created as a response to the newly adapted religion of Christianity. The Christian’s were an up and coming breed at the time, and had forcefully attempted to steal the thunder from the Republic, and many felt the need to respond in whatever means necessary. This piece exemplifies the beginnings of a movement and a war; a war that we know was eventually won by the Republic.
- Matter Before King Thor, In His Capacity As Highest Judicial Officer.
Matter Before King Thor, In His Capacity As Highest Judicial Officer. From the Collection of Cameron Munier Donated by the Republic of Thoronian Library This document is one of the first Judicial review’s ever conducted in Thoronia. As the world was becoming a more confusing and bizarre place new efforts had to be created in order to keep up with those who failed to follow the King’s decree. Still referenced today, this case is widely accepted as being one of the founding and most influential movements in Thoronian history.
- The Constitution of Thoronia
From the Collection of Cameron Munier Donated by the Republic of Thoronia Library The Constitution of Thoronia is widely taught in schools and studied by the people of Thoronia, but rarely is it offered up for public viewing. For the first time in 20 years the RoTLibrary has graciously allowed us to hang the first portion of the 1,014 page document. It is widely known that King Thor and Mr. Munier collaborated to draft the Constitution, as King Thor never bothered to remember any of that legal “mumbo jumbo.”
- Plan for a Mustache #5
From the Collection of Mojiferous J. Collossus. Artist: Ulysses Sylvester Washington Fifth in a collection of 200, Plan for a Mustache #5 is one of the most influential mustache design works in the History of Thoronia. As it is known, residents in Thoronia must at some point harness the power of the mustache on their way to manhood (or womanhood). In the early 12th century school children began to express themselves openly through their mustaches, and out of the 200 possible combinations this is the only work that remains today.
- It's Free
From the Collection of Mojiferous J. Collossus. Artist: Ulysses Sylvester Washington During the 1980s a plan was hatched in America to push oil and money on the Thoronians. This piece is both a response and critique of what the American’s offered them. Ulysses Sylvester Washington was born in a Thoronian Harbor town east of St. Pleasant to immigrant parents. Raised on a farm, U.S.W. as he eventually became known, strived against the American injustice and eventually became one of Thoronia’s most revered social critics.
- For Upon Him We Make the Light Come Up on the Dawn of the Day, Kneel before the King in Reverence
From the Collection of Bryan Danknich On Loan from the Seattle Center of Thoronian Studies This piece was originally found on the island of Guataspecastanio, a small KT worshipping island of the coast of Africa. Little is known about the origin or its creator, but it is recognized to be the first piece of art depicting King Thor. Bryan Danknich found the piece while he was on an expedition in Guataspecasanio hunting for dinosaur bones. For Upon Him… is the only remaining piece of civilization from the island; the people and their ways have been discarded and lost deep inside the King’s Tote. More information can be found by reading Jeremy Coal’s Uncivilized, Life in Early Thoronia.
